Colic and assorted questions/statements

Does anyone have any help on Colic? We are dealing with a baby who has Colic and Reflux. Also, my daughter seems to think that she has worms. We keep telling her that if she sucks her thumb when it is dirty that she will get worms. Last night she had a breakdown with tears rolling down her face. I had to reassure her several times that she is perfectly fine. Any suggestions on thumb sucking?
